Elephant rides Elephant show

In many places in Thailand, you can go to watch elephant shows. The video I want to show you today is of a show at the Crocodile Farm in Samut Prakan. Apart from the thousands of crocodiles there are also elephants. You can even ride on one for ten minutes which will cost you only 50 baht (about $1.20). During the elephant show you will see elephants painting, walking the tightrope and dancing to disco music. There is also a section of the show where volunteers are invited to lie down and let an elephant walk over them! Would you do that? Watch the video and see some people that didn't seem so scared at first.

I have seen this show in different places. It is always the same. It is perfectly safe to volunteer. But, be warned, don't be the last person in the row to lie down. They always put the male volunteer at the end. The elephant will then sniff you in places you don't want to be sniffed!
